About the Campaign

DIS | INTEGRATION: Headlines are Frontlines is a film and music installation that takes passersby through 1,460 days of New York Times headlines featuring President Donald Trump. Consumed in succession, these headlines serve as a reminder of the haunting and addictive impact of the newsroom on America's nervous system.

Impact Goal

Drive awareness and conversation to artist Smriti Keshari’s mobile multimedia installation DIS|INTEGRATION through a #HEADLINESAREFRONTLINES tour that sought to emotionally engage Americans of all political inclinations to question the role that the media has played in shaping our new reality under a Trump presidency.

STRATEGY

1
Create the DIS|INTEGRATION installation digitally on 20-foot-long mobile trucks that targeted key battleground states and varying political outlooks across 16 U.S. cities.
2
Curate truck routes in high-trafficked and historical landmarks to generate conversations
3
Capture key moments of the tour on film for press-worthy opportunities
4
Generate content to seed on a custom website, social handles, and hashtags that onlookers could visit to learn more about the project

RESULTS

503k+
impressions on the mobile truck installations
17
press hits about the tour
7
videos created for social media
